PICTURE STORIES: HORSE DAYS
This photo essay leads you through the weekly routine of a seven year old girl who takes riding lessons at The Thomas School of Horsemanship in Melville, New York. For an hour each week she visits her happy place, caring for, riding, and loving the horses and the world they live in. The troubles of her world are left at the front gate upon entering The Thomas School. No homework, bad news, or negativity enters her mind during this period. She is at peace. In the world we live in today this is a rare and special time for a child of this age. With all the horrible tragedies, wars, and natural disasters this world experienced this past year here is the simple, light story of a child and her love of horses.
